Be true to seller / supplier and they can be really helpful

Today, I talked to a supplier about the price of a phone software. The software is very good and price is very attractive, but I was told I need to buy a 1000 in order to qualify as their reseller. He is normally quite tough and doesn't change his offer / term. Today, I got a lucky or something.

I seek for his understanding as Sony Ericsson hardly brings out new models these days. Business is tough these 2 years  (I think he knows more than me as he sells lots more things). It is actually hard to sell so many.  I then offered to pay a slightly higher price because of the lower quantity I bought. He seems to be very understanding today and accepted my offer.

I learn negotiation doesn't need to be rude / cheat / trick others. People normally have a good heart. You just have to tell the truth and be true to them, I think they will help you. As a simple man like me, I feel it's easy to be stupid true than a clever fake guy.
