1st: Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway: How to Turn Your Fear and Indecision into Confidence and Action [Special Edition] (Paperback) by Susan Jeffers (Author)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Feel-Fear-Anyway-Indecision-Confidence/dp/0091907071

I love this book, it's one of the very few books (excluding my comic books) I have read twice already. We all have fear in something, fear in losing the love one, fear of losing job, even the president (I can't remember the name) said he feared about dancing so much that he could sleep the day before he performs. Why we have all these fear ? as the authors said ultimately, the reason is we think "we cannot handle it" - Eg. I can't handle losing my  job. Then the next question is how can we handle it ? Do it anyway... I know it sounds easy to say, but after I read the book, I do feel I have I fear less (not fearless). It gives me a bit more power to my life and my fear.

2nd:How to Win Friends and Influence People (Paperback) by Dale Carnegie
http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Win-Friends-Influence-People/dp/0091906814

One of the most classic book ( I think the chinese name is called "Human Weakness"). A lot of things in there are very obvious (like don't critise people), but you will be amazed how hard to do it.

3rd: Advanced Selling Strategies: The Proven System of Sales Ideas, Methods and Techniques Used by Top Salespeople Everywhere (Paperback) by Brian Tracy

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Advanced-Selling-Strategies-Techniques-Salespeople/dp/0684824744/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1255107638&sr=1-1-spell

I have great respect to Brian, he is a guy from nothing (as a factory boy) to a top salesman. Unlike many sales book teaching you how to make more sales by saying X,Y or Z / watching the customer's facial expression bla bla bla... Brian consider a good salesman should be able to find out customer's problem through different questions, analyse their  need and present a solution which will solve their pain.

4rd: The One Minute Salesperson: Spencer Johnson

http://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Minute-Manager-Salesperson/dp/0007104847/ref=pd_sim_b_2

It's one of the thinnest book I have read recently (less than 100pages), but it's really about quality not quantity and I enjoy every page of it. One of the very important things I learn from the book is "You have to believe in your product before you can sell anything to people, sales the product to yourself before you "sales" to other people. You have to believe you are giving a $10 to people while you are taking $5 from them.

5th: Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert T. Kiyosaki

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rich-Dad-Poor-Robert-Kiyosaki/dp/0751532711/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282239889&sr=1-1

This book has opened my mind. Life is interesting, like the poor dad, he fears risk & losing money and eventually, money didn't come to him and he works very hard for the money all his life. While the rich dad take & manage risk, let the money works for him and eventually, more money go to him. I know the feeling of poor dad and I am still learning to be more like the rich dad.

6th: Screw It, Let's Do It: Lessons in Life - Richard Branson

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0753510995/ref=oss_product

It's again another very thin book, but very inspiring book which summarises Sir Richard, one of the richest man in the UK, life story. I always think running a business is all about lots of hard work, tear & sweat. More than that, it's just amazing how Richard also enjoy very much his business and stay positive when sometimes, things went wrong.

7th: Success: the Glenn Bland Method: How to Set Goals and Make Plans That Really Work - Glenn Bland

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/084236689X/ref=oss_product

People say life is short and we always don't have enough time to achieve everything we want. Sometimes people who has everything what everyone wants: money, beauty, reputation etc, but still they are unhappy or commit suicide. People may wonder why.

Bland believes in order to live happily, we have to balance 4 different aspects of our life which include Financial, Spiritual, Educational and Recreational. In order to achieve the balance, it's essential to everyone to sit down and have a plan. I am amazed how easily I am distracted to do something less important and move away from my goal when I look at the plan I made. Still, I believe practise makes perfect. :P

8th - Focal Point - A Proven System to Simplify Your Life, Double Your Productivity, and Achieve All Your Goals

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0814472788/ref=oss_product

Do less and earn more ? does it sound too good to be true ? Accordingly to the research in the book, most people spend 80% time to get 20% of their earning. On the other hand, in some activities, they only spend 20% of their time and earn 80% of their money from it. Therefore, the system is simple, focus on those 20% which yields 80% income and do less on those 80%. Then overall, you will be earning more while doing less.

You may think it's silly, but I do see myself falling in this sometimes. I found those I can earn good money from it are always something I did a lot, so I feel bored doing it even it's marking money. While the 80% of my time enjoy doing something I didn't familiar. It is fun as I feel I am learning although it is not generating much income from it. Do you have similar habbit ?

9th -  Effective Media Relations : " A Guide For Small Voluntary Organisations "
Ian Gilchrist (Author)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Effective-Media-Relations-Voluntary-Organisation...

It could be boring to many people as stuffs inside are quite factural, but I found it very useful as it teaches me how I could be able to advertise in the newspaper for free ?

10th - Start Up!: How to Start a Successful Business from Absolutely Nothing, What to Do and How it Feels

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Start-Up-Successful-Business-Absolutely/dp/02737...

Liz's story is very inspiration. Imagine how you feel if you go blind while you quit your job and start a business ?

Not only it didn't stop Liz, but she managed to make it into a multi-millions business. Her "can-do" attitude and "never see herself as disabled" really inspire me. When she lost her sight, I am impressed how she stayed clam & positive, managed her blindness with an assistant, growth the business.

When sometimes, my inner voice from heart tells me I could not be able to run a sucessful company because I am a foriegner. I will always remember Liz's story.
