My swine flu experience

6
Aug

This flu is not as horrible as what people say on the newspaper, but I do feel it's more serious than normal flu.

1/8/2009: I went to china town to meet a friend, but I forgot to bring umbrealla and walked under rain.
2/8/2009: Nothing wrong and I enjoyed a good sunday sleeping as I came back home very late day before.
3/8/2009: I felt dizzy and had a slight fever.
4/8/2009: Still had the fever and  I started coughing badly with running noise. I slept most of time with 2 duverts and thick clothes.
5/8/2009: This is my worst day in whole experience. Niow, I had a hurt feeling while I cough. I think it's because if you cought too much, it will hurt your lung.  I sleep a lot and I was getting better
6/8/2009: I feel a lot better today, but my wife insists I should take the Tamiflu, so I have just taken the 1st tablet. :P

Tamiflu

In order to get the Tamiflu, you need to go to this web and register

https://www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk/

Then you will be given a reference number. Ask a healthy person and bring the reference number with your passport, you will then be given the Tamiflu in a local pharamcy store.

During my sickness, I feel doing the following things helped me to recover

1) Drink plenty of HOT water
2) Have hot shower and then go to bed with 2 duverts
3) Plenty of sleep
4) Take the medicine early rather than later (which is what I did wrong)... I found it's easier to cure the symptons before it went too far. Like my cough, I let myself cough a few days before I took my 1st tablet. My lung now still feel hurt even I feel I am ok.

Take care and keep yourself warm
